Our 6 Services Plan Includes:

Balanced Fertilizer and Micro Nutrients

All Green understands what Utah soils are lacking.  Our focus on each service is to help get the soil right.  We apply soilutions to help balance the nutrients in the soil so the grass gets exactly what it needs.

Weed Control

All Green uses weed control solutions called selective herbicides.  This type of treatment kills the weeds and not the grass.  The treatments are designed to kill hundreds of different types of weeds and annual grasses like crabgrass and foxtail.

Pre Emergent

Pre emergent treatments are a popular choice to stop annual grasses and annual weeds in your lawn before they germinate.  They are traditionally applied early spring. Pre emergent treatments disrupt weed seed germination to set you up for the future.  If the weed seed has already germinated we use selective herbicides to kill the weeds and not your grass.

Turf insect Control

Utah is home to many insects that damage lawns.  All Green includes turf insect control throughout the season to control turf damaging insects like sod webworms, grubs, cut worms and cranberry girdlers.  The solutions are designed to both kill and prevent the larvae from extensively damaging your lawn.

8 Services Plan

March – October

Our 8 Services plan runs monthly between March and October.  It is highly effective in controlling weeds and annual grass due to the additional visits in March and October.  Prices are very competitive to what you would pay to do the job on your own.  Charges are calculated on the size of the lawn.  Click below for a free quote.

What Is Lawn Care?

Chances are you’ve had some experience with lawn care in the past.

You might have been encouraged, against your will, to mow your parent’s lawn as a child, pull weeds, or trim the bushes.

All of those activities are lawn care, but they one thing you might have missed as a child is that lawn care is much more than mowing your lawn weekly or weeding the garden or flowerbed.

Lawn care is actually a complex process of preparing, cultivating, and protecting your lawn so that it looks beautiful no matter what season it is.

Some of the most important times for lawn care are in the fall and the beginning of winter.

In addition, lawn care includes things like lawn fertilization and aeration, and no matter how much time you spend on your lawn, chances are it won’t live up to its full potential without pest control.

Why Do You Need Lawn Care?

Lawn care, and especially professional lawn care like that offered by All Green Pest Control & Lawn Care, provides you with two benefits.

The first benefit is the free time you gain by contracting out your lawn care.

Unless you enjoy spending time caring for your lawn and find genuine pleasure in it, chances are it’s a drain on your time, especially if you’re truly committed to having a beautiful lawn.Fall Lawn Fertilization In Provo Utah

If you want to get your Saturdays back, hiring someone else to do your lawn care can do just that, and give you time to spend with your husband, wife, kids, or friends.

The second benefit you gain by contracting out your lawn care is a beautiful lawn, without all the effort of doing it yourself.

Like we said earlier, lawn care is so much more than just mowing your lawn, and you have to be committed to have a lawn your neighbors will be jealous of.

You need to fertilize, seed, spray, aerate, and water, at a minimum, to have the kind of lawn you see in magazines.

Learning how to accomplish all of that, and to do it effectively, is a significant time investment, and you’ll probably make several preventable mistakes along the way.

If you hire a professional, you can gain all the benefits of learning and doing by yourself, without all the effort.

How Can You Learn More?

If you want more information about lawn care, you can look through the information on our site, or you can get in contact with us to ask us specific questions you don’t see answered here.

Residential and Commercial Lawn Fertilization

Thank you for joining the All Green Pest Control and Lawn Care Team for your lawn care needs. Our goal is to provide you with excellent service and great customer care. Each fertilizer treatment targets your lawn in different ways and following is an explanation of each service. You can learn the basics of lawn fertilization, but as you can see below, proper fertilization in Utah takes serious knowledge and experience.

Early Spring/Late Fall Ammonium Nitratetreatment

Nitrogen plays a critical role in protein formation and is a key component of chlorophyll. Plants with adequate nitrogen show healthy vigorous growth, strong root development, dark green foliage, increased seed and fruit formation and higher yields.

Spring PreEmergent treatment

Last years weeds cast off seeds that begin to germinate in April. To stop the germination process and prevent new weeds from developing, we combine a preemergent with your regular fertilizer and also treat for the existing weeds from the previous year.

Bill Bug treatment

Bill Bugs are small beetles commonly found infesting lawns through out Utah. The Bill Bug Beetle eats the base of the stock of each blade of grass. The larva offspring of Bill Bugs are called Grubs. Grubs eat away the root base of your lawn. Your Bill Bug/Grub treatment includes weed control.

Early Summer Fertilizer and late Summer treatment

Your summer fertilizer will green the lawn again, improve root growth, increase cell wall strength and encourage new growth to thicken your lawn.

Summer Post Emergent treatment

Any of the weed seeds that were able to germinate and take root will be treated for during the post emergent service. Your post emergent treatment also includes a fertilizer service to continue to give your lawn the nutrients it needs to maintain consistent color, strength and growth during the warmer summer months.

Early Fall Fertilizer treatment

Your lawn has faced the demands of a hot summer and needs to recover. Your fall fertilizer is applied to stimulate continued root growth and cell wall strength. As the temperature begins to reduce over the fall each treatment will focus more on root growth and development.

Winterizing treatment

This is the most important application for the long term health and development of your lawn. As blade growth slows and becomes dormant, the roots of your grass will continue to grow through the late fall and in to the early winter. Root development creates a healthier, greener and thicker lawn for the following spring.

Watering properly is very important

Each lawn is different and may require different amounts of watering and frequency. You may need to water on a daily basis to keep your lawn healthy and green, depending on the type of soil you have, the altitude at which you live (on the bench or in the valley) as well as the slope of the ground (a heavier slope will lead to more run off and less water being absorbed in to the soil). Hotter days will lead to more watering as more water is evaporated in to the air and not absorbed in to the soil. Be sure to run your sprinklers during cooler times of the day (late at night or early morning).

Again, thank you for being a part of our service. Don’t hesitate to contact us at any time for questions and information. We’re happy to help you manage your lawn care needs.
